Free support note · Planner version 1.0.0

Several orders.
One stock count.

When several checked orders need the same item, add their requirements together. Count the ready stock once.

Fictional example: blue pouches

You count 8 ready-to-pack blue pouches in one shared stock pool. Two separate checked requirements need 3 and 4 pouches.

Use one calculator row:

Item or variant labelBlue pouch
Ready-to-pack units8 — your counted stock, entered once
Units required7 — from 3 + 4
7Planned dispatch
0Units still required
1Ready units remaining

Do not enter 16 ready units by adding 8 + 8 when both counts refer to the same eight pouches.

If you see the duplicate-item warning

Version 1.0.0 treats Blue, blue and Blue with spaces before or after it as the same label. Combine the checked requirements for that same item into one row. Do not rename identical stock just to avoid the warning.

Use separate rows for genuinely different items or variants, each with its own ready-stock count. Different wording alone does not make stock distinct. Keep quantities already allocated to another session out of this session’s available stock.

A plan is not a handover

The calculated 1 remaining is not a physical stock check. Record actual handover separately and investigate differences. Entries are not saved: print or save your plan as a PDF before closing or refreshing. Keep customer and payment details in your usual systems.
